Introduces the many different types of digital files, including still and moving images; then explains and demonstrates, live and on-line, the techniques to locate and extract data and other intelligence from the material.
This module introduces the investigative opportunities provided by digital media files, that includes searching for images and the deployment of online resources and practitioner knowledge to locate and analyse file meta-data and and to process images for facial recognition.
The practitioner will have the capability to investigate and process digital files and images for the benefit of an investigation.
Module 8 Part A does differentiate but only in the Live Online Training, where investigation opportunities that are available only to Law Enforcement officers are introduced.
