MODULE 1 OF THE COMMAND LINE COURSE
There are many different platforms that can be deployed for Command Line processing. In this module we take a look a 5 different Linux platforms, deployment from the Microsoft Windows sub-system and from a browser console regardless of the operating system installed on the practitioner's work station. Deployment from a Virtual Machine, both local a remote and from an Android Mobile device. They all have advantages and disadvantages which will be discussed.
During the Live Online Training, because switching between platforms does cause havoc with with the internet connection to the training platform, some of the examples will be demonstrated with pre-recorded videos, all of which are available for download by the practitioner after the Live Online Training.
Extensive 'How to' notes are provided to each practitioner with step by step explanations, particularly of installation processes.
Preparation for the processing of command line applications. We take a look at five different Linux platforms that can be deployed. Then, we look at deployment from a Microsoft Windows operating system and finally deployment from a browser console, regardless of the native operating system. We discuss the advantages and disadvantages of all of these deployment platforms.
The practioner will be aware of multiple different deployment platforms and will have the knowlege to decide which works best for them.
There is no difference between deployment by a public or a private sector organisation. Both sectors require the security that shall be explained during the module.
